A lot of schools in the UK require this, the courses that are taught are not so helpful if you have no clue what they are talking about because you do not have practical experience in your field. That experience is just as valuable as your Bachelors in preparing you for a Masters program. You may be able to find a school that does not require work experience, you may not, just look.

Princeton Review Rankings will give you profiles on all MBA programs. One of the sections in the profile is “dual degrees offered”. There are like 300+ profiles so it might take some time, however, it is organized by state so it should help you narrow the list. Don’t bother buying it (it’s pricey), just spend an hour or two at Barnes & Nobles and write all the stuff down…

On the internet find the universities you´re interested in, go to their Intra-net, search for scholarships. Then read the criteria and conditions and send them whatever it is they want applicants to send them. Word of caution though: there is a policy of granting scholarships to citizens. For international applicants it is a very competitive environment. Your best luck is with the universities where there is a high demand for intellectuals. Those are the war torn and more poverty stricken regions. It may be less appealing but you´re input gets a chance to get noticed and who knows you get a chance to contribute to the advancement of the country´s situation.

I personally wouldn’t hire someone with an on line MBA… and I know many other managers who feel the same way. Why? Simply credibility… those on line universities give degrees to those willing to pay for them. Get a real MBA from a STATE-accredited university, and get real classes from qualified and academically acclaimed professors.
